Subscribe to Campus Guardian Emergency Locator (CEL) Service

To subscribe to Campus Guardian's Emergency Locator service, please click on the Begin Subscription Process link at the bottom of the page. It will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete the subscription process. A link to the software will then be sent to your phone and to your e-mail to download the Campus Guardian Emergency Locator (CEL) software. This software includes the Campus Guardian Shuttle Tracker service.

Once your status has been determined (school attended, student/employee, etc.), you will be offered one or more appropriate subscription plans and pricing options. Student subscriptions are available by semester at $90/semester or for the academic year at $175, which also covers the summer session.

Subscription Process Details

Various information is collected during the subscription process that makes the system more effective in an emergency. We understand that some data may be provided by a parent and some by the student. Therefore, the following description of the process and the data that will be requested is provided to help you to prepare.

You will need the following information to complete the subscription process (optional information may be provided at a later time):

School Information:

  • School/Campus
  • Student/Employee ID

Phone information:

  • Carrier, e.g. Sprint, AT&T, Verizon
  • Manufacturer, e.g. Blackberry(RIM), Palm, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sanyo, etc.
  • Phone, e.g. LX400, Pro200, Treo750, etc.
    • Pictures are provided to assist in identifying your phone
  • Phone number (of the mobile phone that you will use with the Campus Guardian software)

Contact Information:

  • First Name
  • Middle Name (optional)
  • Last Name
  • E-mail address where any notifications relating to your account, including confirmation of your subscription and information about downloading software to your phone will be sent.
  • Your address when at school

Purchasing process:

Campus Guardian Corporation uses PayPal to accept payments via their secure website. The PayPal website permits you to choose whether to use your PayPal account, if you have one, or your credit card to pay for the service.

Note: You may need to click on Continue under Don't have a PayPal account? to get to the page that allows you to use a credit card.

  • After entering the requested data on the PayPal site, click on the gold Review Order and Continue button. It will then go to a page where you can review and complete or cancel your purchase.
  • To purchase, press the gold PAY NOW button and you will be taken to a page that confirms your purchase.
  • On that page, you will find a gold RETURN TO CAMPUS GUARDIAN button. It is important that you press that button to return to Campus Guardian's website to complete the subscription process and download the software.
